The Nifty Fifties

What are One Acts?

A one-act play is storytelling at its most potent. Distilling a complete narrative arc into a single, continuous sequence. Unlike a traditional full-length production, it unfolds without an intermission, offering a concentrated burst of emotion, conflict, and character development. Think of it as the "short story" of the theater world: it moves quickly, hits hard, and leaves a lasting impression by focusing on a pivotal moment in time.

A musical comedy tribute to the 1950s by Tim Kelly, with music and lyrics by Bill Francoeur. This exciting show centers on a teenage girl's scheme to save a high school dance and a local luncheonette, of course everything goes wrong and she find herself in a sticky situation.
